This Week in Books (WWW): Its been a Popular Week

WWW is from Sam over at Taking on a World of Words, and this is also combination post as This Week in Books by Lipsyy is essentially the same thing.

(psst: Click the book cover to be taken to the GoodReads page.)

What I’m Reading for Review:

Victor’s Heritage by Anthony Caplan

27073904

Progress: 20% | Opinion so far: Okay, so maybe its too wordy. The concept is interesting, but I just can’t get into it!

Minotaur by J.A. Rock

258668511

Progress: 51% | Opinion so far: An easy, fascinating read. Can’t wait to finish it.

Zer0es by Chuck Wendig

23460958

Progress: 19% | Opinion so far: I like the way he describes things, and the characters introduced are definitely different, realistic (and sometimes smackable).

What I Finished This Week

(as you may be able to tell, I’m on a “popular books” kick. Mainly because those are easy to get in paperback and I’m getting an e-reader today, actually, so I’ve been taking a break on the e-books.)

  1. I’m looking forward to getting around to Illuminae – I haven’t seen a negative review yet. Six of Crows is on my Christmas list.
I’ve seen good things about Zeroes – I’ll look out for your review 🙂
    Here’s my WWW: https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2015/11/25/www-wednesday-25th-november-2015/

    • In September I read Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld, so I’m kind of amused that I’m reading another new release book named Zer0es already by someone else. Checking out your WWW now, actually 🙂

  2. Was Red Queen any good? I’m attempting to not buy it without feedback from people.
What e-reader are you getting? I never go anywhere without mine, it’s like an extra hand.

    Great post and happy reading!

I have both Illuminae and A Monster Calls on my ever growing TBR!! I adored Red Queen! I cannot wait for the next book! 🙂

  4. Eleanor says:

I love More Than This, but I haven’t read any of the others. A few of them are on my TBR list though.

Talk to me!
