I shouldn’t have laughed at this one. I never laugh at the “ermahgerd” stuff, but this one made me giggle so hard.

They’ve made it through kidnapping, torture, and an entire year that never was. They’ve made it through so much together. What will happen when the Doctor recieves a warning about his song coming to an end? And what do the nightmares that are plaguing Rose mean? Will they be able to save the Universe once more? – A series four rewrite with Rose. Sequel to The Old Team.
A Ten/Rose set in Season 4. I’d definitely read “The Old Team” first, but its just all around a good read.

This guy doesn’t get nearly enough attention. Everyone fawns over 10 or 11, or hotly debates Capaldi as 12, but Eccleston gets glanced over.
Eccleston NAILED the Doctor coming back from the Time War crap. He was every bit as good of an actor as 10. Unfortunately, he wasn’t as good-looking, and part of me thinks that’s what kind of screwed him over. That and the fact that we didn’t have as many episodes to get used to him as we have had with the other guys.
Give the 9th Doctor his due, dagblastit!
Saw this grreeeeeeeeat post on If Mermaids Wore Suspenders, and I immediately thought “I wanna do that too!” So I’m shamelessly getting in on this, but still being good and linking back to her blog!!
Top 8 Things from Books That I Wish Were Real
1.) THE TARDIS – From Dr. Who (yes, its a TV show but there are also books, so it COUNTS!) Unlimited space AND time travel.
2.) Time Turners (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)
3.) The VR system from Ready Player One (I didn’t like the book, but the gaming system was sweeeeeeeeeeet!)
4.) The planet Avaria (Matrix of Destiny Series)
5.) The Chocolate Factory (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory)
6.) Hermes’s Sandals (Greek Mythology)
7.) Xanth (but only if I get to have magic! I don’t want to be a Mundane.)
8.) Warp Drive/FTL drive (any space travel fic…ever?)
What about you?
Now go check hers out, since she started this: Top 8 Things From Books That I Wish Were Real
I first got introduced to John Barrowman via Dr. Who, of course, but then followed him into Torchwood and fell in lust.
Then I discovered he looked better in a dress than I did. JERK!
Annnnnnnyways…..
Click me to see John Barrowman rocking a Tardis outfit and you will be in awe (or giggles. or both.)
I loved 3,4, and 9. 10 was fun. 11 was weird. 12 is…snarky and okay, but I’d rather read a book, honestly.
I know. I know. I’m a horrible Whovian. I’m stuck in my Regeneration cycle.
Its not him, really. Its Clara. Can’t stand her! I don’t know why. I have no excuses. My dislike is not logical. It just IS.
How about you?
Beyond being a Kid’s Corner day, Saturday is also Dr. Who day here on Scifi and Scary.
I make no apologies!
Here are my top five Dr. Who Quotes:
1.) “People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint – it’s more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly… time-y wimey… stuff.” (Steven Moffat)
– The episode that this came from “Blink” which is probably one of the few truly creepy episodes of the show. It still makes me give angel statues the side-eye whenever I see one.
2.) “You want weapons? We’re in a library. Books are the best weapon in the world. This room’s the greatest arsenal we could have. Arm yourself!” (Russell T. Davies)
– How can any self-professed bookworm not have this on their list of favorite quotes? from anywhere/anyone??
3.) “One may tolerate a world of demons for the sake of an angel.” (Steven Moffat)
-Any mother of a special needs child, especially, I think will testify to the accuracy of this statement. I’ll face a world that can be ridiculously hard just to make sure my child has all the care/surgeries/encouragement/medicines/love that she needs.
4.) “You know, the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common: they don’t alter their views to fit the facts; they alter the facts to fit their views.” (Steven Moffat)
-Two words to describe this: America. today.
5.) “Go to your room! Go to your room! I mean it. I’m very, very angry with you. I’m very, very cross! GO! TO! YOUR! ROOM!… I’m really glad that worked. Those would have been terrible last words.”
– I started this list with a Dr. Who Quote that I loved just because it made me giggle, so it was only right that I end it on a quote that makes me giggle. I love the 9th Doctor.
