We hope everyone out there is doing well physically and mentally. This is going to be a bit of a test on working together, showing care for others by taking the necessary precautions. And, most importantly perhaps, don’t panic. You can be worried (I’ll let you, it’s ok) but don’t panic to the extent that you’re actively harming your mental health and that of others. There are enough supplies, when shopping, think of the others in the store and know that others need essentials as well.
We’d also like to add a shout-out to the horror community in general for handling this well by helping each other and special thanks to the authors who have dropped their prices on books. Even though they need the income right now we respect them for not taking advantage and wanting to lend a hand. That’s awesome and it makes the horror community a great one!
GracieKat was the first co-host of Sci-Fi & Scary, Lilyn’s partner-in-crime, and sub-head of the Kali Krew. She reviews horror books, movies, and games for the site. She also does a weekly Focus on the Frightful feature, and is the site list-maker. She is also in control of the Sci-Fi & Scary podcast which will relaunch soon.
