Your second book Time Travel is a love story that highlights themes of friendship and determination. What was your inspiration for this story?

My inspiration is based on my creativity.

Was there a specific reason you picked the 1970s as your “past” time period?

No, there was no specific reason I picked 1970. I just thought of that year could be right for someone who accidentally transported back to the past.

If Time Travel got made into a movie, who would play Angelie Thompson and John Salvador, your two main characters?

Emma Watson and Tom Felton because I love Harry Potter.

If you could time travel, where would you go and why?

The Philippines because I miss my home country, cousins and relatives.

What is your favorite part of the writing process?

Writing itself because I applied everything I know from my leanings and creativity.

Your degree is in political science. What inspired you to step out of that field and take pursue writing?

By reading books, I thought to myself, “What if I can write a book” then the rest is history.

If you could collaborate with any author, dead or alive, who would you pick?

JK Rowling because I love Harry Potter and Mitch Albom because “Time Keeper” is my favorite book.

What tips would you give writers trying to get published?

Be creative and work hard.

What can we expect to see from you next?

Promoting my second book and writing my third book (Hopefully it will be published).

Here’s your chance. Is there anything else you’d like to say that wasn’t asked?

Everything is perfect.

And now, for a little about the book Time Travel:

Angelie Thompson invented a time machine in 2015 and her boyfriend, John Salvador, was accidentally transported back to 1970. Left with no other option, Angelie journeys through time, searching for John. Along the way, she encounters several adventures, meeting new people on her desperate search for her lover.

Meanwhile, stranded in 1970 and with no hope of ever returning back to his own time, John begins a new life, working as a receptionist in Lesti Hotel where he finds a new love, Elisha.

Conflict arises among the characters due to their complicated relationships and when disaster strikes, it’s up to Angelie to save the world with her time machine invention.

The tale of ‘Time Travel’ highlights love, determination and friendship.
