TTT: Theme Songs for Books

Top Ten Tuesday Banner for Theme Songs for Books

As usual, TTT is brought to you courtesy of The Broke and the Bookish.

There’s no way I’m going to be able to do ten of these… lol. I’m not claiming they fit, at all. Just the first song that popped into my head when I thought of them.

Theme Songs for Books

  1. The Martian –  Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
  2. Harry Potter – I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor
  3. The In Death Series – specifically Eve Dallas – Respect by Aretha Franklin
  4. Ender’s Game – Intergalactic by the Beastie Boys
  5. Thirteen Chairs – Come Little Children (specifically the Hocus Pocus cover.)
  6. Lover Eternal – Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast

…okay, I’m done. I can’t think of any more BUT… this song popped into my head, and it just doesn’t get enough love. Its very beautifully sung here

Harry Potter and I will Survive made me laugh! But also very accurate 🙂 Great list!

  2. “I Will Survive” would work for The Martian, too. 😀

  3. I also used Harry Potter for my TTT, which lists some of the literary music I’ve played in orchestras. I went with the John Williams movie music, though.
