Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Books on my Fall TBR

TTTBanner

This prompt came from Broke and Bookish and I’d like to thank them for giving out some great ideas for so many Tuesdays!

Oh geesh, I have so many books on my TBR list. I’m supposed to just pick 10… can I count series as “one book” on the list? No? Mrph!

Okay, okay, okay. I can do this. So these won’t be in any particular order, sorry.

TOP TEN Books on my Fall TBR

1.) Devoted in Death by J.D. Robb – Its number 41 in the series, and I must read it. I love this series!

2.) Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld – I’ve had it on my TBR since I first saw it mentioned online. Now if they’d only actually PUBLISH it already!

3.) The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. LeGuin – Its been out for a while, obviously, but I still haven’t ever gotten around to reading it.

4.) Thirteen Chairs by Dave Shelton – The description just looks intriguing.

5.) The Mote in God’s Eye by Larry Niven – I loved Niven’s RingWorld book, so I’ve had him on my TBR for some of his other work for a while. I WILL get this read!

6.) The Selection Event by Wayne Wightman – I’ll admit, it was the cover that first drew me in. The premise just looks extremely interesting, though. Very I am Legend looking. Hard to do right, but awesome when nailed.

7.) Armageddon Bound by Tim Marquitz – Nephew of the devil? Where’s he gonna go with this?

8.) The Hero of Ages by Brian Sanderson – The final book in the Mistborn Trilogy. I’m discovering I’m not someone who likes to finish trilogies. I prefer to not know how the story ends, because it lets me imagine things better in my mind. I will finish this book though.

9.) Earth Star by Janet Edwards – Book 2 in the Earth Girl Series. I absolutely loved the first book, so I’m hoping the second one measures up. Sophomore slumps scare me.

10.) The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness – Book 2 in The Chaos Walking trilogy. Patrick Ness is a fantastic writer, even if he is absolutely evil when it comes to killing off adorable characters.

So, there we have it. That was much harder than it should have been.

Were any of mine on your list?

  1. Well, yes, because you just made me add two of them to my list. haha
    And yay, Earth Star!

  2. Finish Mistborn. Because while that trilogy ends you can then start with Alloy of Law for more Mistborn goodness! 😀
