Top Ten New-To-Me Favorite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015 (12/8)

(As usual, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! Thanks ladies 🙂 )

Again, because I read so many indie author works, this one is difficult. I will say generally that it takes more than one book to make an author a favorite to me, so that made it even worse.

I decided to do two from each genre I read, with one (generally) being a mass-market author I’ve recently read, and one being an indie author.

So here we go, in no particular order…

Top Ten New-to-Me Favorite Authors I Read in 2015

My (2) Science Fiction Picks are Andy Weir and R.E. Weber.

My (2) Horror Picks are Corey J. Popp and Josh Malerman

My (2) Fantasy Picks are T. Eric Bakutis and Patrick Ness

My (2) Thriller Picks are Jaq Hazell and Christopher Stookey

My (2) Comedy Picks are Rob Reid and Jeff Lazarus

Can’t wait to see what everyone else says!

    1. …tear-jerking parts? Uh..the Martian is more inclined to make you laugh than anything. Last night when I was listening to it (again), I realized that the science IS actually pretty heavy, but I find it so fascinating that I don’t even notice. Its as much a part of the story as what he’s thinking is.
