For a Laugh: My Zombies Obsession

Okay, anyone who has followed my site for any amount of time knows that I love zombie books. The amount that I love them is a little absurd, though.

Here’s the books from my goodreads “zombie” shelf. I’m pretty sure I’m actually missing several still. Now, I put zombie in parenthesis because not necessarily every book contains your typical zombies, but in my head, if they act in a certain way…they’re zombies! (In order by author)

Don’t be surprised by the fact that you don’t see complete series on here. I hardly ever actually read a whole series.

Is there a zombie novel you’re shocked isn’t on here? Let me know! I’m always looking for the next good one!!

  1. You know what, I really wanted to go into reading The Girl With All the Gifts without knowing much about it, but unfortunately I saw a BookTuber mention that it was about zombies and I honestly felt like the book was spoiled for me. So sad. I haven’t read many zombie books, actually, I think I’ve only read one. I also have Rot & Ruin but it’s not with me atm and I haven’t read it. I love zombie movies so much that when I was younger, like in high school, I had the same zombie dream 2 consecutive nights and it was amazing!! The second night I knew I was dreaming so I wasn’t scared but I still played along and it was so much fun. Later on I had the same dream a third time.

    1. Hmmm.. I’d still give Girl with All the Gifts a try. I mean, honestly, you figure out that it probably has something to do with zombies within the first 30 pages or so? BUT… its the reaaaaaaaaaaaally fun TWIST about the zombies that makes it worth it 🙂

  2. I love this list, and I’m definitely keeping it for my brother. He, at one point, had an extreme obsession with all things zombie. I think it’s toned down a bit, but I’m sure this list will rekindle it.

  3. Zombies… I’m too much of a wimp for them. I’m considering watching the Pride and Prejudice zombie movie, but even that one will be behind my hands, as the trailers looked…bloody 🙂
