Books for Review

Books for Review Header

In a push to support self-pubbed and small press authors, Sci-Fi & Scary is happy to offer up a selection of books for your review consideration. These are books that, as the name of the page suggests, are specifically in the sci-fi & horror genres. Feel free to browse through the books below by clicking on the covers. If one catches your eye, just fill out the reviewer form at the bottom of it’s page.

Please note that while we cannot demand that you review every title you receive from this hub, we strongly urge you to take the time to do a review. Unlike traditionally published, well-known authors whose works reach thousands of hands, self-pubbed and indie authors need every bit of support or critique that they can get. There is no expectation of a glowing review if the book does not deserve it. We simply ask that you give a fair and honest one.

We can guarantee you that there are some awesome books currently being offered up. Some of them have been reviewed (and loved!) on Sci-Fi & Scary.  Do you like paranormal stories? Try The Kalbrandt Institute Archives by Chris Chelser.  Does revenge horror get you going? Fury, by Joan De La Haye is a great novella to read! A fan of Jonathan Maberry? Out of Tune II was edited by him!

By the way, this book hub operates under an unusual set of rules in regards to authors listing their books for review. It is, simply, that they are never told who has reviewed their work. Sci-Fi & Scary verifies via reviewer contact that a review has been posted (or will not be posted), and that is that. For more information on why this particular set up is in place, please click here.
