A Review I Want to Eat Your Books by Karin LeFranc

What’s it about?

There’s a new kid at school. He’s a zombie, but not just any zombie. He’s a book-ivore! Will the kids in the class treat him like any old zombie, or wait and see how he acts first?

My Review of I Want to Eat Your Books

Aimed at ages 3-6, I Want to Eat Your Books is a wonderfully cute story with a message. Told in rhyme, with fun illustrations, it leads us through a zombie’s first day at a new school (told from the viewpoint of the normal classmates).

The message is simple: If you don’t jump to conclusions, you may find something you would have missed otherwise. Like a friendly bookivore zombie.

There’s absolutely nothing about this book that needs work. Its perfect from beginning to end. Miss L (the resident 6 year old) giggled throughout the story, and when we were done, promptly asked me to read it again!
